'Tabula Rasa'

Australian born Joe Mattei sets a glistening vision for house and techno in his world, to truly withstand the test of time. He debuts on our catalog with his 2-track EP titled: 'Tabula Rasa' (latin for a fresh start and a new beginning), accompanied by a fresh remix from melodic-powerhouse Alegra.

Influenced by trance and progressive sounds of the 90's, Joe wanted to bring some of these elements in his productions which is clearly evident with his title track 'Inside Out' – a weapon fit for those nostalgic dance floor moments.

The flip side 'Beyond Here' then picks up the dark and melodic direction with great power and precision. Both tracks sculpted for the pure energy, big crowds in mind and that massive outdoor environment that summer brings.

Boy wonder, the magnificent Alegra punches through and delivers a beautifully crafted remix of Inside Out, encompassing all the amazing elements by spinning them in his spectacular way. Layered synthesis and melodies are his game and he works it well.
