'Submission'

Submission marks the return of Gabriel Moraes. A release that really does show how much of a weapon he is through a two-track journey from chug to chunk, packed with heave and destined to please.

This all-round legend has definitely stepped up his game since Folie, our last release and initial inception with him a few years ago. He now resides in Melbourne and has been making waves across our country - bringing his signature sound and heavy, admirable Brazilian influence to our shores.

His EP opens with the title track Submission, starting only as a workflow experiment and coincidentally resulting in a 6 minute dance floor banger.

This track flows with the rolling bass before the entangled synth takes control and breaks down into something from out of this world… "almost unbearable to maintain, like a rollercoaster with its ups and downs. "

Gabriel then drives it home with the layered textures and breakbeat groove before the final drop, "almost like a phoenix that comes back from the ashes better than it was before it passed."

Step Out, the B-side - does exactly that - stands up and steps out. This track is packed with a consistent pace and infectious energy from the get go. "A hypnotic vibrant track with a continuous melody that drives the track forward.

The last break is another experiment with programming synthesisers to talk to each other like a conversation, at some point they almost sound like voices processed with vocoders.

We are both very excited and honoured to have the brother Gabriel back on board for this release with us.
