'Obsidian'

A fresh new debut from a local legend, this young man has made the rounds contributing some high energy releases on notable labels not just on our shores but across the globe. We are lucky enough to be presenting this next release from Tim Light, sharing his much anticipated Obsidian EP.

Obsidian, by definition is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed when the lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly. In contrast the title track for this EP explodes from the jump as if a volcano was erupting. The introduction to this EP is a strong and climatic opening track high energy synthesis and a thumping low end. As we move throughout the release, each record is in your face, captivating and powerful in its delivery.

"I guess for me this release is illustrating the darker side to my production and from there that's where I decided to take the direction with each record".
