It is with a heavy heart that we have received the news that unfortunately Christian Smith’s Australian & New Zealand Tour, which was due to start this week, has now been postponed. We are gutted over here at Darkbeat HQ and we hope Christian can make it back down under and play for us soon.
Now, the show must go on and with that in mind we’ve got someone lined up who we KNOW will fill the void nicely and make for an amazing night alongside Mr Edu Imbernon.
We are excited to announce the return of another Darkbeat favourite, Mr Anthony Pappa!

We will be joining forces with the likes of Recovery Collective, Arteq Productions, & Liam Sieker Presents to bring you this very special double headliner show featuring none other than Christian Smith (Sweden) & Edu Imbernon (Spain) @ My Aeon on Friday 24th January.

Founder of the seminal techno label, Tronic, Christian Smith has been at the very forefront of the electronic scene for over 20 years. Although born in Stockholm, Christian spent most of his childhood years in Frankfurt, Germany before studying in the US then moving to Sao Paulo, Brazil where he truly made a name for himself as an elite DJ and producer. It is plain to see that he is a truly global citizen and helps explain the universal appeal of his music. We’re proud to welcome back an absolute don of techno, Christian Smith.

When you think of Spain, your mind undoubtedly drifts to beautiful sunny beaches, tapas and sangria and a tapestry of bright colours and textures. In many ways that is a perfect description of our Spanish guest Edu Imbernon. Known for creating magical journeys of melodies and rhythms, he leaves the dancefloor feeling like they’ve just spent hours at the beach watching the sunset and enjoying the delights of life.
