Symbiosis is a collaborative concept wherein these two rising Australian techno labels have come together, forging a compilation release and 2 coinciding tours: Australia & Europe.
We really love Brisbane, and so we are delivering you 6 interstate artists for a single day event of winter warming. 3 have been lucky enough to feature at Capulet previously, the others are fresh to the club's famed decks.
The day session will glimmer with a melodic, deep and funky soundtrack | The night boasts beefy basslines and a driving overtone.

ABOUT THE SYMBIOSIS VA
Through cross collaboration between artists and back catalogue of records, perfectly resembling the close affiliation between the two Australian labels: Bassic Records and Recovery Collective - we are proud to present you with the Symbiosis VA compilation.
Built on such similar ethos and with a growing relationship bound by sound, it seemed natural for the labels to take another step forward by forging a unique project of music publishing and cross promotion.

ABOUT THE LABELS
• Bassic Records •
Driving a sound unique to the Australian outdoor festival and doof scene, Bassic Records is built on a wide range of experimental styles of melodic, psychedelic, groovy, beefy and emotive progressive: the infusion is often dubbed "bush techno".
Turning the light to emerging artists, Bassic focuses on artist development for a tight roster of passion driven Australian talents, whilst incorporating some of the most current artists worldwide in the related genres.
Bassic holds annual label showcases on the Rabbits Eat Lettuce main stage and Subsonic Music Festival's El Stompo stage, with their artist's claiming slots at more of Australia's most respected main and techno stages: Rainbow Serpent, Earthcore, Strawberry Fields, Earth Frequency and Dragon Dreaming. Breaking the international scene in 2017 Bassic Records artists have features at Shankra Festival Switzerland, Half Moon Festival Thailand, Twin Lakes Festival Germany, Sensun Festival Denmark, Bassic Showcase at Club64 Copenhagen and many other clubs, doofs and boat parties from Berlin to Ibiza and Portugal, from Indonesia to New Zealand and New Caledonia.

Recovery Collective is a Melbourne-based movement equipped with a creative visionary and an aim to provide a fresh educational vehicle within the electronic music community. By showcasing emerging artists and undiscovered sounds alike, constantly striving to increase awareness and appreciation for quality art and music.
Established in early 2014, the label has grown to become one of Australia’s most innovative and forward thinking platforms. Currently working with majority of the countries largest outdoor music festivals such as Strawberry Fields, Rainbow Serpent, Babylon, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Subsonic, Burning Seed and Earthcore - performing alongside names such as Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Claude Von Stroke, Danny Daze, Illario Alicante, Infected Mushroom, Joris Voorn, Max Cooper, Pleasurekraft, Stephan Bodzin, Robag Wrhume, Lee Burridge, Fur Coat and many more...
