Handsdown returns to the label with 'LSD'
RC155 marks the return of one of Recovery Collective's closest brothers. Handsdown steps back onto the label with 'LSD', his tenth release with us and his first since 2019. A long time between drops, and the reunion feels every bit as significant as it sounds.
The relationship runs deep. Shannon has been part of the RC story from the early days, sharing the road with the label through years of touring together. Tours through Europe, superyachts through Croatia, shows across Brazil and festivals around Australia. The kind of history that only comes from years of doing it together and one that continues to shape the label's sound to this day.
'LSD' is a trippy peak-time techno cut laced with glitchy psychedelic textures. Driving, hypnotic, and unpredictable, the kind of track that pulls a room together at the sweet spot of the night. Vocal cuts thread through the arrangement, adding weight and mood, sitting perfectly against a low-end that keeps the whole record rolling.
Handsdown has been on a serious run of late. Releases and shows stacking up, and a project that continues to go from strength to strength. 'LSD' picks up right where that momentum lives, a track that feels alive and built for the deeper end of the dancefloor.
Welcome home brother.
